Since a lot of comics creators are currently unable to sell their zines as expected because of the pandemic and the cancellation of several comics festivals/events, we’ve added resaousces to help with this, and some sections arew also added in the form where you register your products.

To help us publish your zines/prints/stickers quicker, you need to include a photo (see instructions below),  dimensions and weight of each product we can publish them with little or no delay for pre-orders even before we’ve received the actual copies. (please note that it may still take some time depending on our workload at the moment).

Presentation text about the zine is completely volontary but will help people to understand what they’re getting, and encourage them to buy. We will generally not make something up if we don’t get it from you.

Prints:
If the prints are digital you can simply send us a file.
If the prints are handmade (screen, lino, etc) you need to take a photo according to the instructions below.
Fanzines and stickers:
Images should be as clear as possible and should preferably be scanned, or photographed from above on a light-colored surface. You can for example use a white sheet of paper as background. Take the photo as straight from above as you can and avoid shadows. You can see what we’re after by looking at the other products already published in Fosfor. The images should be at least 1000 (a thousand) pixels wide.

There are 2 ways to register products:

The quick way:

• Take a photo of you zines, prints or stickers
• Weigh them (grams)
  Measure them (length, width and height for zines, length and width for prints and stickers)
• Fill out the form.
• We receive your info, reply to your e-mail with instructions, address, etc. After that, you can send us the physical copies (or deliver them personally to Hybriden or Fanzineverkstaden).
• We edit the images if needed and publish the product for pre-order in the webshop. This is done manually so don’t expect it to be instantaneous.
• We receive your copies and send them out to buyers as they are ordered.
• We also put copies in our physical store at Mitt Möllan (Malmö).
• After selling them we pay you for what we’ve sold. This will happen ca once/month for the time being. When the situation calms down the frequency might change.

The slow way:

• You fill out the form, with title, amount and price.
• We receive your info, reply to your e-mail with instructions, address, etc. After that, you can send us the physical copies (or deliver them personally to Hybriden or Fanzineverkstaden).
• We receive your copies.
• We take photos, weigh and measure your products, then publish them in the webshop and also put copies in our physical store at Mitt Möllan (Malmö).
• We send them out to buyers as they are ordered, or sell them in the store.
• After selling them we pay you for what we’ve sold. This will happen ca once/month for the time being. When the situation calms down the frequency might change.

• Fosfor is formally run by C’est Bon Kultur (CBK), which is part of Hybriden. It is currently run in close cooperation with Fanzineverkstaden and Tusen Serier. Logotype is made by Gonzalo Oimis.
• Please note that we do not accept fan art or other materials where you do not own the copyright. This is for both your and our protection.
• HYBRIDEN (CBK, Tusen Serier and Wormgod) reserve the right to cancel a product from the distro if it turns out to be racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory.
• HYBRIDEN and Fosfor want everyone to feel welcome and able to contribute and take part in the distro, with no judgment relating to sex, gender identity or expression, ethnicity or social standing, religion, disability, sexual orientation or age.
• In order to sell fanzines via Fosfor, you have to be self-published. If your’re unsure, contact us!
• HYBRIDEN will add a handling fee of 10 kr to your price to cover transaction costs, packaging, etc. The amount you specify in the agreement is what you will receive after we’ve sold your products.
• Fosfor will contact you exclusively via e-mail, so specify an e-mail address that you check regularly. If your product hasn’t been published yet in the webshop, check your e-mail or contact us!

For the time being we’re only able to make payments via PayPal if you don’t have a Swedish bank account.

Checking the box in the end of the form confirms that the creator agrees to the terms in this agreement and the distro rules of Fosfor.
