Angry Animal about a genocide and a ceasefire

The first part of this zine, Angry Animal about a genocide, was made for an exhibition in Malmö during Eurovision 2024 as a protest against Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. The second part, Angry Animal about a ceasefire was made in 2025 shortly after the ceasefire was broken.

Also included are two older pieces, Angry Animal about freedom of expression and power relations (2006) and Angry Animal about Swedish/Israeli gun trade (2011), retrospectively showing that the current situation didn’t begin on October 7 of 2023 but has been going on for decades, with ockupation, apartheid and massacres, but also with resistance. 

Four comics that reflect on what the situation was at the time of their writing, trying to see how separate events are parts of a larger context.
